In the year of the dog, you could use the following phrase.

1.狗年吉祥 (gǒunián jíxiáng) -Good luck in the year of Dog

2.狗年大吉 (gǒunián dàjí) – Lots of luck in the year of Dog

3.狗年汪汪 (gǒunián wăngwăng) – Prosperity year in the year of Dog  

Greetings towards elderly or grandparents

1.身体健康 (Shēntǐ jiànkāng) – Wish them good health
